Instructions
• The medi Arm Butler is a device
to assist with the application of
medical compression arm
sleeves.
It is designed to allow a single
person to apply their own arm
sleeve without further
assistance.
medi tip:
We recommend the use of medi
rubber gloves (pictured) to help
you in applying your armsleeve
(fig. 1).
• Place the medi Arm Butler on a
table or similar surface (fig. 2).
medi tip:
Place a non-skid surface
under the medi Butler
(e.g., absorbent cloths, rubber
mat, etc.).
• Roll the arm sleeve back over
the semi-circular cylinder so
that it is inside out. Please
ensure that the seam does not
face you directly, but is shifted
slightly off to the side (fig. 3).
For right arm sleeves, the seam is
off to the right (approx. 4 o'clock
position).
For left arm sleeves, the seam is
off to the left (approx. 8 o'clock
position).
• Tip the medi Arm Butler on to
its front side. To stabilise it,
place the angled overhang
against the front edge of the
table (fig. 4).
• Insert your arm smoothly and
without rotating it into the arm
sleeve (fig. 5 and 6).
• Check to make sure that the
arm sleeve is seated properly
and if necessary smooth out
and align the top band or
attachment area (fig. 7).
