from children.
3.
Install the machine in a dry and easily reachable place,
so that you can easily carry out maintenance and clea-
ning procedures. Do not install the machine in dirty and
hardly accessible places.
4.
Do not install the machine in a place where there is an
evident violation of security rules and where people could
be easily injured.
5.
The machine must be installed in a horizontal position.
6.
To clean the external part of the machine, use a cloth
and some water. For the internal part, you must unplug
the electricity and then use a dry or slightly damp cloth.
7.
Keep away from acid or corrosive products.
8.
Make sure there is a working earthing arrangement.
9.
Make sure the temperature of the place ranges between
10°C and 35°C.
10. Make sure the water is taken from a pipe where water
suitable for human use flows.
11. If necessary, install a by-pass to avoid water interrup-
tions in the event of a downtime.
12. Install a tap for outflow water collection, in order to check
machine performance.
13. Prepare the electric, water and unload systems for a
correct installation. In particular, make sure that all pipes
are not flattened or have too narrow elbows.
14. Install the machine at a minimum height of 10 cm from
the floor.
15 . Never use the machine without the appropriate filter (fig.
3, I) for filtering the inflow water.
The producer is not responsible for any damage and/or
injuries deriving from lack of respect of the above-men-
tioned warnings.
8) QUICK JOINTS (FIG. 6)
Nearly all the pipe connections are made with quick joints.
To disconnect a pipe you must unload the pressure, then
press the black ring around the pipe next to the insertion in
the opposite direction to the extraction, then extract the pipe.
To connect the pipe again, you must simply insert it until it
stops (about 2 or 3 cm).

9) INSTALLATION

9.1 ELECTRIC NETWORK CONNECTION

Make sure the electric network voltage is compatible with the
machine voltage 230V-50Hz.
Make sure the plug is compatible with the socket. In case of
incompatibility ask qualified personnel to replace it. They will
check the cutting cable suits to the power demand.
This machine was built in accordance with the essen-
tial safety requirements set by the following European
regulations: Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/CEE,
Electromagnetic compatibility 2004/108/CEE. Installation
must be carried out in accordance with the law on
electrical plants (CEI 64.8).

9.2 WATER NETWORK CONNECTION

Water network connection must be performed by a qualified
personnel in accordance with the existing law and the instal-
ler's instructions.
Make sure that:
• inlet (fig. 1 E) and outlet (1 F) pipes must be in compliance
with "Pipes for drinking water" regulations.
12
• water inlet pipe must have an inner diameter of at least 8
mm.
• the pressure of the water network ranges between 2 bar
and 8 bar (we advise you at least 3 or 4 bar).
• if pressure is higher than 8 bar, the installation of a pressu-
re reducer is required.
Inlet and outlet taps are equipped with a quick joint. For a
correct installation you only need to insert the two taps in the
dedicated joints (fig. 6).
Connect the inlet pipe to the collection pipe. Do not connect
the outlet pipe until the machine is installed (fig. 11 B).
The machine was built with materials compliant with the
requirements of the ministerial order n. 174/2004

9.3 UNLOADING SYSTEM CONNECTION

During the normal working, the outflow water must be con-
veyed through a plastic flexible pipe, diameter 10 mm, (in-
cluded in the package) and into the nearest unloading system
(fig. 1 H).
Install the unloading pipe following the instructions below,
as a poor installation will cause malfunctioning: insert the
unloading pipe in the dedicated housing and place the pipe in
a basin, paying attention that:
• the unloading point must be at floor level;
• If the unloading point is placed higher than the machine,
the maximum height acceptable is 1.8 metres, provided
that the distance is not longer than 5 metres and the pres-
sure of the supply water network is at least 3 bar (fig. 8).
• Make sure the pipe is not flattened or bent, as water
should flow out without running into obstacles (fig. 9, A B);
• The unloading system must never be directly connected
to a siphon or to other unloading pipes, in order to prevent
returns or pollution into the water softener.

10) SETTING AT WORK

1. Remove the panel protecting the filter (fig. 1 D).
2. Remove and wash abundantly the filter cartridge under a
water jet (fig. 2 E) and build it in the filter cup.
3. Disconnect the outlet pipe to unload the first outflow wa-
ter (fig. 11 B).
4. Open the inlet and outlet taps (fig. 1 B and 1 G) and make
sure there is no water loss.
5. Insert the plug in the socket (fig. 3 A) and turn on the
switch (fig. 1 A). The machine will now start working and
will produce osmotized water.
6. Let the water unload from the outlet pipe for about 5
minutes (fig. 11 B).
7. Close the outlet tap (fig. 11 G) and wait until the pump
stops. Then reopen the outlet tap to activate the pump
again. Repeat this operation twice to flush all the air in
the pipes.
8. Make sure there is no loss in the machine.
9. Reopen the outlet tap and unload about 30 litres water
(about 15 minutes), which contain the membrane-pro-
tecting substances.
10. Reconnect the outlet pipe to the fixture and (fig. 11 A) and
replace the panels.

11) FUNCTIONING

ZB02 works completely automatically and does not require
any adjustment.
Thanks to the shut off devices it is able to understand when
to start or to stop.
Moreover, every time it stops, after having supplied the requi-
