DEVICE OPERATION AND SETTING
Select the pumping and welding parameters* depending on the bag foil type and thickness.
*Note: pumping and welding times are completely dependent on type/size/structure of the food
and the bags you use. The settings provided in the "Use" paragraph are just an indication.
Determine by trial and error which pumping and welding times are suitable for the product/bag
combination you are using at any given time.
While the device is in operation, a single press of the "STOP" key (5) will end the current phase
and skip to the next (vacuuming => sealing; sealing => stopping etc.); keeping the "STOP" key
pressed or pressing it twice will halt all operation and let air flow into the chamber.
Once the parameters of operation are set, these will be used by default every time the lid is kept
closed.
LEDs in the relevant buttons (4, 6) indicate the current stage of operation (vacuuming, sealing).
For setting and memorizing of the following parameters and range thereof:
- pumping time
- welding time
Note:
1. The bag must be straightened on the strip so that no creases or folds occur.
2. The food you want to vacuum should not exceed 2/3 of the contents of the bag.
3. Put the bag on the welding strip with an overlap of approximately 2 cm.
4. Note: soft bread and pastries will be flattened and therefore are not suitable to use.
5. Use only products that are not sensitive to compress like meat, cheese etc.
6. As soon as the cover has been closed, the process will automatically start.
7. The packing process operations (i.e. pumping - welding) are indicated by front panel LED's.
8. The appliance is provided with spacers (shelves) to put in the chamber. These spacers can
be used to lift the food somewhat so that proper bag positioning will be accomplished.
