1. Remove the rubber straps from the brackets on the
chassis (A).

2. Lift up the grinding head cover.
3. Pull the rubber straps (B).
4. Attach the rubber straps to the brackets on the
chassis (C) to lock the grinding head cover in the
raised position.
Support wheel
The support wheel lifts the grinding head a small
distance from the ground to make short distance
transportation easier.
CAUTION: Use the support wheel only to
move the product short distances. The
support wheel must only be used in the work
area or on and off a transportation vehicle.
WARNING: Be careful when you install,
remove or adjust the support wheel. The
moving parts can cause injury.

To set the support wheel in position for short
distance transportation
1. Put the support wheel frame (A) against the product
frame.

a) If it is necessary, turn the lock lever at the front of
the support wheel frame to loosen the wheel.
This makes it possible to put the support wheel
frame at the correct angle against the product
frame.
2. Slightly lift up the support wheel frame to make sure
it is tight with the product frame (B).
3. Lock the support wheel with the pin (C).
4. Remove the support wheel in the opposite
sequence.
To adjust the height of the support wheel
1. Set the support wheel in position for short
transportation distances. Refer to
wheel in position for short distance transportation on
page 32 .
2. Turn the lock lever (A) at the front of the support
wheel frame to loosen the support wheel.
