Attaching the objective lens caps
It is advisable to use the objective lens caps to further
protect your BN 7x50 DC/DCM from foreign bodies like
rain, saltwater, dust or sand. These can be attached by
simply pulling the tongues over the tripod mounting
thread cap (7) and manoevering them until properly
secured under the cap. When using your binoculars, the
caps will now hang away from the objective lenses and
not get in the way. If you would like to remove the lens
caps from the binoculars, carefully pull the tongues out
and over the tripod mounting thread and cap.
