 Exhaust gases from a generator contain toxic carbon monoxide, which you
cannot see or smell. Therefore, never use the generator indoors, in a garage, in
a shack or alike, even if the doors or windows are open.
 Use the generator only outdoors, far away from windows, doors or ventilation
openings.
DANGEROUS!
 Switch off the motor and let it cool down before refuelling it. Hot motor parts,
sparks or a cigarette can ignite the petrol. Store the fuel far away from the
generator.
 Do not refuel while you are smoking or close to an open fire.
 When refuelling, make sure that no fuel spills on the motor or the exhaust.
 Before you transport the generator in a vehicle, you need to drain all the fuel in
order to prevent leakage.
 Store the generator in a well-ventilated area with an empty fuel tank.
DANGEROUS!
 Never use the appliance in the rain or under wet or moist conditions. In
addition, do not touch it with wet hands. This can lead to an electric shock,
which can cause a severe injury.
 The generator must not be stored or used under moist or wet conditions or on
very conductive locations, such as a metal deck or steel construction.
 Always make sure that the generator is earthed before using it. Neglecting to do
so can result in severe injury!
WARNING! Motor and exhaust could be hot.
 Contact with the exhaust (and its surroundings) and the exhaust gases can lead
to severe burns. Therefore, do not touch the hot parts and avoid exhaust gases.
Let the appliance cool down before touching it.
 Exhaust, exhaust gases and their heat could ignite flammable and explosive
materials; they could deform or damage a fuel tank and to set it on fire.
Therefore, keep these away from flammable materials!
