Safety instructions

Only use the device outdoors, in a well-ventilated area; the

exhaust gases are toxic!
Fuel is extremely flammable. Always turn the engine off before

topping up the fuel!¬ Only use petroil lubrication: 50 parts
unleaded petrol to 1 part oil. Keep petrol, paraffin, matches and
other flammable materials/substances away from the device!
Do not smoke when topping up the fuel!

Try to avoid spillages when topping up the fuel! Spilt fuel must

be cleaned up immediately with a clean cloth.
This generator is not waterproof. To prevent short-circuits or

electric shocks, do not use in wet conditions (rain/snow/mist).
Do not touch the generator with wet hands and prevent the
6.
device getting wet.
Keep the generator at least one meter from explosive and
7.
flammable substances and objects.
The generator must be earthed at all times; to this end, attach
8.
a conductive wire between the earthing point on the generator
and an approved earthing pin.
Never connect the generator to the mains network or to
9.
another generator.
10. Never touch the outlet during or shortly after the generator has
been in use. It will get extremely hot!
11. Do not connect any devices before the generator has been
switched on.
12. Ensure that anyone who uses the generator knows how it works
and how to stop it quickly.
13. During use wear protective shoes and clothing.
14. Ensure that there is careful supervision when this device is used
in the presence of children, incapable individuals or pets. The
device is not suitable for use by persons (including children)
with a physical, sensual or mental limitation or a lack of
experience and knowledge, irrespective of whether they are
being supervised or have been issued with instructions in
relation to the use of the device by a person who is responsible
for their safety. Always ensure that children cannot play with
the device.
