■ Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■ Only use the device when it is fully and correctly assembled and in good working
order.
■ Do not move the device during use.
■ The device has an overload protection function. If the motor gets too hot during use,
the device switches off automatically. If this happens, pull the mains plug out of the
socket and allow the device to cool down completely before you use it again.
■ Only ever use suitable (dried) corn kernels to make popcorn. Do not use pickled corn
from a tin!
■ Only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer should be used. If accessory
parts which are not authorised by the manufacturer are used, all warranty and guar-
antee claims are void.
■ Always allow the device to cool suffi ciently before you clean it / put it away.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can
damage the surface.
Notes on Hygiene
■ There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean it thoroughly before you fi rst use it (see the "Cleaning and Stor-
age" chapter).
■ Clean the device immediately after each use to prevent germ formation (see the
"Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
