∙ Remove the battery for storing the device for an extended pe-
riod over 3 months.
∙ Never use the device nearby fire or in a heated oven.
∙ Do not attempt to burn any other material than wood chips,
dried herbs, spices or teas.
∙ Never run the device unattended.
∙ The device can be used for flavoring food – not for preserving
with smoke! Do not generate smoke for longer than 30 seconds.
Longer periods may damage the device.
∙ Only use the device in well-ventilated rooms. Keep in mind that
smoke detectors may be activated.
∙ The metal housing becomes very hot during operation.
Leave the device to cool before transport or cleaning.
∙ Never run the device without the metal wood
chamber in place! The moving of the fan blades can cause harm
bodily harm!
Cleaning
∙ Leave the device to cool completely.
∙ Empty the burned wood chips into a noninflammable dustbin.
