Solution
Make sure that only two sensors are installed in the
controller. Although two analog module ports are
available, if a digital sensor and two modules are
installed, only two of the three devices will be seen
by the controller.
Make sure that the analog module and the digital
sensor are not connected to the same channel. The
analog module ports are internally connected to the
sensor channel. If a digital sensor and an analog
module is connected to the same channel only the
module is seen by the controller.
Examine the sensor and the sensor cable for
damage. If damage is found, contact technical
support.
If no damage is found, disconnect the sensor, wait
15 seconds, then connect the sensor again.
Contact technical support if the communication
failure shows again.
Make sure that the sensor is applicable to the
controller. Contact technical support.
Make sure to update the sensor software to the
latest available version. Refer to the expanded user
manual on the manufacturer's website for additional
information.
Make sure that the relay connections are secure.
Make sure that the relay wiring is correct.
Make sure that the relay configuration is correct.
The relay should energize and de-energize as
selected.
Make sure that the USB flash drive is formatted
with FAT32 and has a minimum of 300 Mb
capacity.
The USB port on the controller is compatible with
USB 2.0 devices.
Note: USB 3.0 devices are also compatible but the device will have
a USB 2.0 transfer speed.
Try again with a more recent USB flash drive.
Remove the USB flash drive and do the firmware
update process again.
Download a new firmware update file. Make sure
that the downloaded file is 316 Mb approximately.
Contact technical support if the error shows again.
Make sure that the module is correctly installed.
Refer to the module documentation.
If possible, remove the module and install the
module into a different slot.
Contact technical support.
