Possible cause/solution
• Is the auxiliary air valve on the handle open? Close it.
• Use the suction power control to set the suction power.
• Is the dust bin full? Empty the dust bin.
• Is one of the fi lters heavily laden with dirt? Clean the fi lters.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or suction hose plugged?
Disconnect the mains plug and remove the blockage.
• Is the dust fi lter properly seated in the dust bin? Check to
make sure that the dust fi lters are secure.
• Has the dust bin been closed properly and inserted in the
device? Check whether the dust bin is properly closed and
inserted.
• Has the dust bin compartment been closed correctly? The
dust bin cover must audibly lock into the closed position.
• Is one of the fi lters heavily laden with dirt? Clean it.
When using the device for the fi rst time, it is normal for an
odour of newness to be emitted – the odour will vanish
over time.
