Proper use

❐ This device is designed for vacuuming up normal house dust.
❐ Do not in any case vacuum up the following:
– Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– smouldering ashes, cigarette butts, matches etc.
– fl ammable or ignitable materials
– very fi ne dust (e.g. cement dust), ash or toner
– pointy, hard objects such as larger glass shards
This could cause damage to the device or injury to persons. Smouldering ashes etc.
could set fi re to the fi lter, vacuumed up liquids could cause a short circuit, very fi ne
dust could plug the fi lters and pointy objects could damage the fi lters.
❐ The device is intended for domestic, not commercial use.
❐ Only use the device as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed
improper.
❐ Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded
from the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

❐ Keep children and pets away from the packaging wrapper. Danger of suffocation
exists!
❐ This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as persons with im-
paired physical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in how to safely use the
device and have understood the risks associated with operating the device. Children
may not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed
by unsupervised children.
❐ Be absolutely sure to wear closed shoes when using the device!
❐ Keep the nozzles, handle and telescoping tube away from body parts, hair and animals
at all times during operation. They could be caught in the vacuum cleaner. If the vacuum
cleaner becomes plugged, immediately press the On/Off switch to turn off the device.
❐ Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. Improper use may result
in injury and electrical shock. The mains cord may also not be accessible for children.
