Introduction

General Information

The letter opener DL 250 is a machine constructed for the office environment.

User Information

The letter opener DL 250 is only intended for opening envelopes. Any other use
is not according to it's specifications. The manufacturer/supplier is not liable for
any damage resulting from misuse.
Please refer to this guide for instructions on use.
The DL250 can be placed onto a tabletop with no special requirements. It's
maximum operating time is 40 minutes.

Setup

Unpacking/Storing

It is recommended that you retain all packaging for your DL250 for future use if
required.
Caution! The housing of the letter opener must only be opened by a skilled
technician to avoid damage.

Connect the machine to the power supply.

Preparing Mail

Caution! Foreign objects can damage your machine.
1. Remove any foreign objects from your mail (i.e. Paper clips, staples or rubber
bands).
2. Turn and Tap envelopes to move content away from edge to be opened.
3. Sort your mail, depending on size and type/quality of envelope.
4. Arrange envelopes with opening side aligned evenly and place against the rear
of the envelope guide plate.
