The battery pack is retained via a special battery support.
Slightly press the two wires in the left and the right of the
chassis together until you can remove them from the holes
in the chassis.
Then move the wire brace to the side so you can insert the
battery pack.
To lock, move the wire brace up again and insert the two
wire ends into the holes in the chassis, see arrow markings
in fig. 2.
Fig. 3 shows you how the battery pack is fixed in place in
the battery compartment by the wire brace.
f) Connecting the battery pack to the drive control
Prior to connecting the rechargeable battery pack to the drive control, activate the remote control transmitter (see
chapter 10. c) and 10. d).
To prevent any sudden start of the drive and therefore uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the trimming
for the drive is maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable cardboard box or a starter box, so that
the wheels can turn freely in case there is a fault. Do not reach into the drive!
Switch off the drive control unit (position "0"). The switch is
marked by a circle in the figure.
Now connect the rechargeable battery pack to the drive
control.
