Operation

ATTENTION!
Keep the nozzles, handle and telescoping tube away from body parts, hair and ani-
mals at all times during operation. They could be caught in the vacuum cleaner. If the
vacuum cleaner does happen to get caught, immediately press the On/Off switch to
turn off the device.
Only turn the device on once you have ensured that all parts have been completely
mounted and the dust bin and dust fi lter have been correctly inserted. Never use the
device if the dust bin has not been inserted or without the fi lters.
Do not forcefully pull the cable out of the device to the stop point. Do not pull it out any
further than to the red mark. The yellow mark indicates the ideal cord length.
Do not in any case vacuum up the following:
– liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– smouldering ashes, cigarette butts, matches etc.
– fl ammable or ignitable materials
– very fi ne dust (e.g. cement dust), ash or toner
– pointy, hard objects such as larger glass shards
Empty the dust bin regularly for maximum suction power. You should also clean the
fi lters regularly.
An auxiliary air valve is located on the handle, which you can use to reduce the
suction power if needed. Open the valve if you want to vacuum off curtains,
carpets or other light-weight, moveable objects or materials. Otherwise keep
the valve closed.

2. Insert the telescopic extension tube in the handle. For bet-
ter seating, gently turn the tube back and forth in the pro-
cess. If you would like to remove the telescopic tube at a
later time, simply pull it off the handle.
3. Push the telescopic tube lock towards the arrow. Hold the
slide lock in position and pull the telescopic tube to the de-
sired length. Let go of the slide lock so that the telescopic
tube lock can engage.
4. Select a suitable nozzle (universal fl oor nozzle, tile and
brush nozzle or cushion nozzle).
Tip: All accessory nozzles can be directly mounted
on the handle without being extended by the
telescopic tube.
