12-POSITION DIP SWITCH
In the ON position, the alarm is generated in each instance with a random
delay that varies from 0 to 1 second.
The purpose of this feature is to confuse and mislead an intruder seeking to
identify the sensor system
Raise and lower DIP 1 three times to activate the heaters for 20 minutes,
bypassing the thermostat.
In the ON position, it activates crossed beam retention.
In the OFF position, the barrier functions "normally"; when set to ON, "ANTI-
CRAWL" mode is activated, meaning that obstruction of the RX1 beam (the
lowest) for at least 2 seconds triggers an alarm condition, regardless of
whether it was previously set to OR or AND.
In the ON position, OPTICAL SYNCHRONIZATION is activated; in the OFF
position, WIRED SYNCHRONIZATION is used.
In the ON position, it activates the disqualification function (with at least two
optics detecting a low signal).
In the ON position, the two lowest beams are excluded, while the remaining
beams continue to operate.
The function can also be programmed remotely by giving a negative 0V
command to the terminal marked BEAM on the terminal block.
To activate this function remotely, DIP6 must remain OFF.
In the ON position, the lowest beam is excluded, while the others continue to
function.
This function can also be programmed remotely by giving a positive 12 V
command to the terminal marked BEAM on the MES9C terminal block.
To activate this function remotely, DIP7 must be set to OFF.
In the ON position, it enables the AND function for the first two receivers,
i.e., both of them must be interrupted to generate an alarm condition, while
the remaining RX retain individual alarm settings.
This configuration can be useful in the presence of high grass or small
animals.
This function can also be programmed remotely by giving a positive 12V
command to the terminal marked AND on the terminal block.
To activate this function remotely, DIP8 must be set to OFF.
In the ON position, this gives a random AND between two RX, i.e. in order to
have an alarm condition, at least two of the RX in use must be in an alarm
condition.
The function can also be programmed remotely by giving a negative 0V
command to the terminal marked AND on the terminal block.
To activate this function remotely, DIP9 must be set to OFF.
In the ON position, the ANTIMASKING function is enabled, activating the
output on the MES9C terminal block.
RS485 connection for future uses
In the ON position, it activates the LEDs.
