4.1 POSITIONING THE CABLE PIT
Once assembled, the cable pit must be set in concrete, keeping the upper edge level with the ground surface. The minimum
recommended size for the concrete plinth in which the cable pit is sunk is about 40x40 cm.
Note: it is advisable to only cement the sides of the cable pit, in order to ensure proper water drainage.
4.2 ADJUSTING INACCURATE POSITIONING
The cable pit must be positioned perpendicular to the ground. If the base is not perfectly level, small corrections can be
made by adjusting the inserts in the cable pit. The column base can be raised by loosening the screw in the insert on the
side to be corrected, until it is properly aligned.
