The dual-optics infrared perimeter barrier is composed of a receiver and an infrared transmitter.
Its functioning is based on the logical operator "AND": in other words, the alarm is only activated by the simultaneous
interruption of two adjacent beams.
It has an operating frequency selection system that allows the installation of several barriers on the same site without
interference among them. The main features of this barrier include:
Adjustable response time, which allows it to adapt to the characteristics of the site to be protected;
Vertical and horizontal protection beam angle adjustment;
Optical alignment;
Four-channel operating frequency selection to prevent interference with other barriers;
Signal contact when barrier is opened.
The barriers feature two components that send each other infrared rays (or an emitter and a receiver, depending on the
perimeter to be protected), creating a barrier invisible to the human eye.

An active infrared barrier can contain several transmitting and receiving levels in the various columns. The infrared barriers
have multiple controls that considerably reduce false alarms.
