WARNING
This operation is used only for a PRE-ADJUSTMENT of the gas valve to avoid a delayed ignition when the gas
boiler is converted from gas A (Natural Gas) to gas E (LPG Gas). After this operation the gas valve has to be set
using a combustion analyzer as described in section 12.8.
After completing the gas conversion procedure, attach the label indicating the type of gas used, supplied with
the boiler documents, near the boiler rating plate.
Fan speed adjustment
To ensure the correct rated heat input with respect to modulation, it is necessary to adjust the speed (rpm) of the fan.
This depends on the length of the exhaust and intake pipes as indicated in the tables below. The factory-set value is
referred to the minimum length of flue pipe (0-6.5 ft / 0-2.0 m for concentric, 0-13.1 ft / 0-4.0 m for twin). To carry out
these adjustments, changing the speed of the fan (rpm) at the maximum and minimum heat input, refer to procedure
described in the commissioning paraghraph 12.5 "using the siemens QAA73 remote control to program the boiler para-
meters"
