Th e machine should be used for suction and separation
of dried dust. Th e machine can be used for separation of
unhealthy dust. As standard the machine is equipped with
a microfi lter class H13.
Th e DC 1800/2800 TR EX is, despite it's compact size, a
full capacity Dustcontrol machine. It is stable, tough and
reliable and particularly suited to spot extraction in many
diff erent applications ie: welding, grinding, sanding and
cleanup with the 38 mm program.
Description DC 3800 TR S EX
Th e DC 3800TR S EX is a machine with large suction
capacity and robust construction while still being compact
and easy to maneuver.
It is ideal for spot extraction on most types of hand-held
tools and for industrial cleaning
(38 mm and 50 mm system).
Th e extraction system functions with negative pressure (va-
cuum) that draws the air through suction casings/nozzles,
hose system, separator and fi lter system. Coarse separation
of dust occurs in the units cyclone which is a highly effi cient
separator for larger particulate. Th e fi ne dust is separated
and contained by the units fi lter system. Separated material

Connect the unit to compressed air 7 bar. Compressed air
need 20 l/s. Connection R½. Hose dimension 5/8.
Th e DC 1800/2800 TR EX is equipped with a manome-
ter that indicates (red) when the fi lter needs cleaning or
changing. Th e fi lter is genereally cleaned once or twice
daily during normal continuous operation. Th e unit must
be in operation to perform fi lter cleaning. Loose the tube
from the suction pipe and press the plastic cage against
the black stop head on the exhaust channel so that maxi-
mum pressure is created in the cyclone.
Open the port on the side o the unit three to six times. Th is
reverse pulse of air cleans the fi lter.
Th e machine can be used both with or without collection
sack.

Dust separation is in any case as effi cient as with the larger
Dustcontrol machines.
Th e design is ergonomic and appealing. With a very low
sound level of 68 dB(A) at 1m distance, the
DC 1800/2800 TR EX is suitable for use in areas which
are sensitive to noise.
Th e machine is powered with an ejector package driven by
compressed air (6-8 bar).

Th e collection sack should only be changed after the clea-
ning of the fi lters. Th e collection sack must be tied off
when it is removed from the container. Use only original
Dustcontrol spare parts.
Th e container for the cyclone should be emptied when it
is fi lled to about 2/3.
