Operation DC 3800 TR S EX
Connect the machine to compressed air. Th e pressure
and quantity of the air system has to be enough to run
the machine. Please see page 8 - Technical Data. Th e air
supply (hose) must be antistatic or grounded. Th e swive-
ling wheels are antistatic and must be in contact with a
dissipative surface.
Th e fi lter should be cleaned 1-2 times per day with conti-
nuous running.
Reverse pulse fi lter cleaning:
1. Start the machine.
2. Disconnect the hose from the suction casing.

During cleaning and service of the unit, the unit should be
disconnected from the compressed air supply.
Th e fi ne fi lter should be changed at least once per year. Use
only original parts for replacement. If the unit is equipped
with a HEPA fi lter, this fi lter should be changed every 300
working hours. Use breathing protection and perform this
operation in a contained area. Th e used fi lter should be
placed in containment and disposed of in the proper and
prescribed method.
Filter change:
Remove the ejector head. Lift the fi lter straight up out of
the cyclone. When required, a plastic sack can be placed
over the cyclone for dust-free fi lter change. Th e fi lter is lifted
directly into the sack.
During the fi lter change, check the fi lter gasket. A damaged
gasket can allow the release of hazardous dust. Never use old
gaskets or after-market fi lters. Use only genuine Dustcontrol
spare parts to maintain the unit for use on hazardous dusts.
Th e DC 1800/2800 TR EX should be performance tested
at least once per year because it may be used with hazardous
materials. Worn parts must be replaced.
Th e ejector is maintenance free.
Service DC 3800 TR S EX
With cleaning and maintenance on the machine, the unit
should be turned off .
Th e fi ne fi lte should be changed at least once per year. Use
only original spare parts. If the machine is used with a
microfi lter/HEPA fi lter, this should be changed every 300
running hours, Use breathing protection when changing
3. Put the free end of the suction hose over the left
handle. Push it towards the stop plate.
4. Open the fi lter cleaning port with a quick motion.
Repeat three to six times.
5. Reconnect the hose to the suction casing.
Th e container should only be changed after the fi lter has
been cleaned. It should be changed when the dust level is
about 5 cm under the foot valve and sealed after removal
from the machine.
Note! Low main pressure and damages in the com-
pressed-air line will result in poor performance.
