Safety Considerations

Read all instructions before attempting to operate this
machine and save these instructions.
Th e machine should only be used in Zone 22. A place in
which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of
combustible dust in air is not likely to occur in normal
operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short
period only.
Th e machine may be used only by authorized person-
nel who have knowledge in accordance with Directive
1999/92/EC.

Important!

No hot particles nor ignition sources are allowed to be
sucked into the unit. Th e machine should not be used
for explosives, unstable or poryfora particles or dust of
minimum ignition energy (MIE) <3mJ.

2. Work area environment
Don't use it in the presence of fl ammable liquids or
gases.
3. Overload
Never let the machine operate fully throttled. Fully
throttled involves a risk of overheating (pressure
gauge indicates red). Always follow the regulations
pertinent to the material you are working with.
Don´t use the machine for purposes that it isn´t
intended for.
4. Body injuries
Never let the suction come in contact with parts
of the body. Th e strong suction eff ect can hurt the
blood-vessels in the skin. Th e machine should be ser-
viced by qualifi ed personnel only. Faults may cause
injury. See also below under warnings.

Service should never be performed inside the zone.

6. Maintain the machine with care
Keep the machine clean and free from dust deposits.
Check that the hose is undamaged and that all gas-
kets are tight. Follow instructions. Keep handles dry
and free from oil and grease.
7. Checking for damage
Before futher use of the machine it should be ca-
refully checked that the machine is un damaged. If
there are any damaged parts these should be repaired
by a Dustcontrol authorized service center.
8. Transportation
When transporting the machine in any other way
than to roll the container shall be emptied.
9. Warning
Use only accessories and replacable parts which are
available in the Dustcontrol catalogue. Only antista-
tic or metallic conductive suction accessories may be
used When using faulty parts or pirate parts (espe-
cially fi lter and hose) the machine could leak out
unhealthy dust which can cause personal injuries.
Th e plastic bag should not be used to the machine.
Th is appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have beengiven supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Th is machine is intended for commercial use, for
example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories,shops,
offi ces and rental businesses.

Th e handle on the top of the machine can only be
used by manual power and empty container. The
machine in constructed for a maximal totalweight of
40 Kg. Higher loading can cause damage.
