Maintenance
Multiple hazards. Only qualified personnel must conduct the tasks described in this section of the
document.
Do not disassemble the instrument for maintenance. If the internal components must be cleaned or repaired,
contact the manufacturer.
Clean the sensor
Do not use steel wool or abrasive pads to clean the sensor or sensor damage will occur.
Examine the sensor periodically for unwanted material and deposits. Clean the sensor when there is
a buildup of deposits or when performance has decreased.

Dish detergent and water
1. Disconnect the sensor from the flow logger.
2. Soak the sensor in dish detergent and water.
3. Clean the sensor face and reflector.
4. Use a spray bottle or squeeze bottle to remove heavier unwanted material.
