SET THE MODE FOR THE DETERGENT PUMP
Once the previous parameter has been confirmed, you will access
this one.

Here you can set the 1 CHARGE MODE for the DETERGENT
PUMP.
Press the central button to confirm the selection shown.
By using the left or the right button, you can scroll between the two
available options: TIMED or QUANTITY.
•
In TIMED mode, the user will be able to program the time for
which the DETERGENT PUMP will be activated at the First
Charge (at the maximum speed).
•
In QUANTITY mode, the user will be able to program the
amount of DETERGENT product to dose at the First Charge.
If the pump has not been calibrated, the activation time of the
pump will be evaluated according with the NOMINAL value of
flow rate of the pump. If the pump has been calibrated, the
calculation will be done using the real flow rate of the pump
and will be much more precise.
The default choice is "TIMED".
Once the chosen option is displayed, press the central button to
confirm it. This selection will change which is the next parameter to
set.
PROGRAMMING THE INITIAL CHARGE
Once the previous parameter has been confirmed, you will access
this one.
Here you can change the INITIAL CHARGE, that sets the amount of
detergent that you wish to dispense into the machine when it first fills
with water. The parameter defines the ACTIVATION TIME of the
DETERGENT PUMP at the Power On of the device or at the
reception of S1 or S2LONG (more than 30 seconds).
If you selected to run the DET PUMP in TIMED mode at the point 31,
the length of the initial charge can be programmed in the range from 0
sec to 250 sec in steps of 1 sec. The default is 30 sec.
If at the point 31 you selected to run the DET PUMP in QUANTITY
mode, the initial charge can be programmed in millilitres, in the range
from 0 ml to 650 ml in steps of 1 ml. The default is 100.0 ml.
The fill will be done at the maximum pump speed.
Use the left or right buttons to set the INITIAL CHARGE, then press
the central button to confirm the value.
IMPORTANT NOTE: there is no need to program DETERGENT
dosing at every washing cycle because the system will
automatically dose until it reaches the recorded conductivity
again, during any washing cycle (i.e. any time the WASH signal
is present on the S3 input). The conductivity set point was
recorded soon after the most recent First Charge.
Please note also that if, during the DETERGENT TOP UP, the
recorded conductivity is not been reached within a set length of
time, the system will activate an alarm. This is because likely
causes are that either the conductivity probe or the detergent
pump is not working correctly.
