3.2.6 Alarms (C.A 63 and 65)

Operation

Two alarm thresholds, a high threshold (HI AL symbol) and a low threshold (LO AL symbol),
can be fixed and activated/deactivated in alarm programming mode.
When the high (low) threshold is crossed, an alarm is triggered (audible beep) and the HI AL
(LO AL
) symbol appears on the display. This symbol will remain displayed as long as
the alarm condition is activated.
Threshold programming
Programming the values of the alarm threshold is easily done (see graph next page) by means
of two cursor movement buttons

Even if the digits on the left do not appear on the display, it is nevertheless possible to position
the cursor to activate them and modify them.
The threshold values are, of course, restricted by the limits of the measurement ranges of your
calibrator (see the metrological specifications 4.3.1).
To exit the display loop of alarm thresholds, press twice successively on the
button. The instrument returns to measurement mode (IN symbol).

ON/OFF

In alarm programming mode (see above), when the cursor is positioned to the left of the
display, pressing the
off.
"A line of cursors = alarm off"
To switch this alarm on, press the
"A single cursor = alarm on"
To return to measurement mode (IN symbol), press twice successively on the
button.

button so that a single cursor is again present.
