Connect cable harness
Connect the cable harness as shown on the wiring diagram.

The sequence of the contact numbers in the circuit dia-
gram do not necessarily correspond to the numbers on
the changeover switch.
a) Connect to the dosing pump (standard) cable harness.
BN = brown
GN = green

Installing the changeover switch

Position the changeover switch at a suitable place inside the
vehicle. All dimensions in mm.

Lay the cable harness from the altitude kit e.g. along the fu-
el pressure line and the cable harness of the dosage pump
(series) inside the vehicle to where the changeover switch is
installed.
If necessary, shorten the cable harness for the changeover
switch.
Attach three push-on contacts to the cable harness for the
changeover switch.
Cut the shrink hose into three equal parts and attach one of
the shrink hose parts to each of the push-on contacts.

When connecting the changeover switch as described here,
the dosage pump (series) is in operation at setting 1.
– Setting 1 = Normal mode up to 1500 m
– Setting 2 = Altitudes from 1500 m to 2750 m
If the changeover switch is connected up differently, this
changes the allocation of switch setting to dosing pump.
Fasten the newly installed cable harness onto suitable points
using cable ties.
