7.5 Default volume control for satellite
In the factory default settings, the volume for the satellite mode is controlled by the TV.
However, some satellite tuners have their own volume control. You can reprogram the remote
so the volume is controlled by the satellite receiver instead of by the TV.
1.
Press and release the TV Mode button [3] – the remote control must be in the TV mode
for this procedure.
2.
Press and hold SETUP [7] until the LED stays lit.
3.
Release SETUP.
4.
Press and hold the Mute [4] button for approximately 8 seconds. The LED will remain off
for this 8-second period, then blink once to indicate the volume default has been
accepted and then extinguish.
5.
The remote control volume default is now set.
6.
If the TV Anywhere remote control was previously controlling the television volume in
SAT mode, it will now control the volume of the satellite decoder. If it was previously
controlling the volume of the satellite decoder, it will now control the volume of the
television.
7.6 Switching between antenna signal and audio/video source
You can connect not only an antenna signal to the TV Anywhere transmitter, but also an
external audio/video source (for example a DVD player, a video recorder or a satellite receiver).
You can then use the TV Anywhere remote control to switch between the antenna signal and
the external source. You do this by pressing the [CATV/ AV] button on the remote control.
Make sure the remote is in CBL mode (press CBL first).
7.7 Changing the code of the 6in1 remote for use with the TV Anywhere
☺
You only have to change the code of the 6in1 remote if another TV Anywhere system is
used in your immediate neighbourhood (within 100 meters).
