Cleaning the Dust Container
1. Lift up the release button (6) of the dust container (7) and pull the container out of
the device.
2. Hold the dust container (7) over an open dustbin. The distance between the dust con-
tainer and the dustbin should be as short as possible to ensure that the dust from the
dust container (7) falls into the dustbin only and does not spill into the environment.
Cleaning the Dust Filter and Micro-Dust Filter
Cleaning the Screen
1. The screen is located in the dust container (7). To remove it, open the bottom of the
dust container (7).
2. Reach into the recesses on the screen, turn it clockwise and pull it out.
3. Tap out the screen or brush it off with a soft brush to remove dirt and dust. If neces-
sary, thoroughly rinse it using clear, lukewarm water. CAUTION: Do not under any
circumstances clean the screen in a washing machine or dishwasher! Shake off ex-
cess water and let the dust container dry completely in the air.
4. Insert the screen back into the dust container (7). When you do this, make sure that
the two locking lugs sit in the recesses which are provided for them. Turn the screen
anticlockwise to secure it in place.
5. Close the bottom of the dust container. It must engage audibly.

3. Press the button to open the dust container. The bottom of
the dust container will open and the dirt will fall out.
4. Wipe down the dust container (7) with a cloth or rinse it
thoroughly with clear, lukewarm water if necessary.
CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances clean the
dust container (7) in a washing machine or dishwasher!
Under no circumstances should you dry it in a tumble-dry-
er. Shake off excess water and let the dust container dry
completely in the air.
5. Flip the bottom of the dust container shut again. The catch
must be heard to engage in place.
1. The fi lters are located on the dust container (7). To remove
them, reach behind the tab and fl ip down.
2. Tap out the micro-dust fi lter and the dust fi lter or brush
them out with a soft brush to remove dirt and dust. If nec-
essary, thoroughly rinse the fi lters using clear, lukewarm
water.
CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances clean the fi l-
ters in a washing machine or dishwasher! Under no cir-
cumstances should you dry them in a tumble-dryer. Shake
off excess water and let the fi lters dry completely in the air.
