RUDDER AND ELEVATOR SERVO CONNECTIONS

49. Connect the rudder (1) and elevator (2) servos to the receiver.
Center the rudder and elevator sticks and trims. Check that
the pushrod is 90-degrees to the servo arm. If not, either
remove the servo arm and adjust, or use the sub-trim when
using a computer radio.
50. Connect the clevis to the outer hole of the elevator control
horn.
51. Use a straight edge or ruler to check the alignment of
the elevator to the stabilizer. The ruler will lay flat across
both when adjusted. Thread the clevis on the pushrod as
necessary to align the elevator. Make sure to slide the silicone
retainer over the forks of the clevis to prevent it from coming
loose in flight.
52. Connect the clevis to the outer hole of the rudder control horn.
53. Use a straight edge or ruler to check the alignment of the
rudder to the fin. The ruler will lay flat across both when
adjusted. Thread the clevis on the pushrod as necessary to
align the rudder. Make sure to slide the silicone retainer over
the forks of the clevis to prevent it from coming loose in flight.
