was "Made in Germany" using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. We
congratulate you on your decision.
For the illuminated magnifier system vario plus, various magnifications and
different lighting options are available. The illuminated magnifier acquired
by you has been specifically assembled with this system according to your
visual requirements. It may therefore differ from the illustration.
The lens of your illuminated magnifier is made of high quality, unbreakable
PXM® material, with a cera-tec® hard coating protecting it against scratches -
scratch resistance is a crucial criterion for quality and durability.

Intended use

This product is designed exclusively for providing enlarged images of text,
pictures, or other object details.

Safety Instructions

X Danger of glare and injury! Never look directly into the sun
or other bright light sources using optical devices! Never look direct-
ly into the light source.
X Danger of fire! Lenses in optical devices can cause significant dam-
age by focusing light to generate heat if handled or stored improp-
erly. Be careful never to leave optical lenses lying in direct sunlight!
X Protect your magnifying light from impacts, moisture and excess
heat. Never lay your magnifying light on a radiator or in direct sun-
light.
X Inform other persons, particularly children, of these dangers.
X The product is a Class I medical device (non-sterile, without measur-
ing function) and complies with Regulation (EU) 2017/745. For use
of the product outside the EU member states, the respective coun-
try-specific directives must be observed.
Notes on usage
X When the lens is not standing horizontal, pull the foot q from the
handle until it engages.
X If the foot bothers you, press the snap-in pin w and slide the foot
into the handle.
X Switch the illuminated magnifier on by sliding the switch e in the
direction of the lens.
