► Maintain an angle of no more than 45° to the
horizontal.
► Turn the clamp nut (1) a half-rotation
towards

(2) cannot be pushed in or pulled out and the
clamping unit is screwed tight, as far as it will go,

► Put on the shoulder strap (1).
► Adjust the shoulder strap (1) so that the cara‐
biner (2) is about a hand's width below your
right hip.

Pole Pruner
► Connect the carrying ring (2) to the carabi‐
ner (1).

► Hold the pole pruner with one hand by the
control handle – wrap your thumb around the
control handle.
► Hold the pole pruner firmly with your other
hand by the handle hose - wrap your thumb
around the handle hose.

Limbing
Cross-cut

► Position the stop (1) against the branch.
► With the chain running a full speed, pivot the
guide bar downward against the limb.
► Cut through the limb with the bottom of the
guide bar.

► If the limb is under tension: Make the relieving
cut (1) at the compression side and then per‐
form the bucking cut (2) from the tension side.
