The following preparation and work steps are to be
done:
• To achieve a greater degree of protection
against humidity from the workshop floor, a thin
PE foil should be placed between the workshop
floor and column base plate (3) before anchors
are placed. Also, the gap between the base
plate and workshop floor should be silicone spra-
yed after anchoring.
• Place the drive-in rails at the intended set up loca-
tion each with two assembly stands. Ensure precise
separation of the drive-in rails (see data sheet).
• Position each cross-beam at the front side of the
rails. Place the cables into proper position and
pull through the cross-beams. During this, check
the position of the cables to the cable rollers. Ca-
bles may not cross each other.
• Fasten cross-beams onto the rails, connect elec-
trical plugs.
• Position lift columns at the end of the cross-beams.
• Pull the cable through the ends of the cross-be-
ams and upwards to fasten on the head plate of
the lift column.
• Measure the position of the lift columns and align
with a bubble level.
• Holes for floor anchoring are to be made through
the 4 holes in the base plates (3).
• Clean the bore holes by blowing them out with
air. Insert safety anchors into the holes (also see
8.4 Selecting anchor).

• Before anchoring the lift, check whether the con-
crete is of quality C20/25 up to the finishing level
of the completed floor. In this case, take the an-
chor length from the anchor manufacturer's data
sheet. If there is a floor covering (tiles, screed)
on the weight bearing concrete, the thickness
of this covering must be determined. After-
wards, take the anchor length from the anchor
manufacturer's data sheet.
• Below the base plates (3) there are the installation
plates (4) on which the column by means of set
screws (1) and hexagonal nuts (2) can be set and
leveled.
• Tighten the anchors using a torque wrench.

Loose/broken cable switch
The loose/broken cable switch (5) is
only pre-mounted at the factory! After
threading in and fastening the cable,
the switch must be set according to
picture 004. This is required again after
each cable change or after the plat-
form has been moved.
