Connecting InPro 8000 Series Sensor to
M800 Process 1-Channel Transmitter

Two special slotted gaskets for cable glands (M25 x 1.5) are included in
M800 Process 1-Channel transmitter delivery (Fig 1). Correct installation of
these two gaskets is important to ensure proper transmitter ingress protection
and to ensure the fiber optic cables are fixed properly to the transmitter.
The gaskets are pre-installed to the fiber optic cables, as Fig 2.
Note: Any vibration/movement of the fiber optic cables will affect the stability
of the measurement.

The gaskets are fit through M25 x 1.5 cable glands. (Fig.3).
Fiber optic cables are connected to "Receiver" and "Emitter" on M800
transmitters (Fig 4). Tighten the cable glands' screws by hand.
Note: Blue and orange fiber optic cables are identical. Which means
commissioning engineer can connects the two fiber optic cables without
considering the fiber optic cable color.
