IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE
ESPECIALLY THESE BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
IMPORTANT! For the most effective and safe use of your appliance, please
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS...especially those regarding the
addition of salt to the water. In "soft water" areas, salt may be needed
in the water to generate steam. In "hard water" areas, the vaporizer will
operate without the addition of salt.
WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
We recognize that many of our customers use vaporizers in homes with
young children. Carefully supervise your children when the vaporizer is
operating, especially crawling infants and toddlers. For children who
can understand, please be sure to take the time to instruct them that the
vaporizer is not a toy...it is a device that produces hot steam and could
cause severe burns and injuries if they do not stay away from it.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD
ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL
SHOCK AND INJURY TO PERSONS, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

at least four feet away from bedside, six inches from the wall and out of
reach of patient, children and pets. Be sure the appliance is in a stable
position and the power cord is away from heated surfaces and out of the
way to prevent the Vaporizer from being tipped over.
2. The appliance should not be left unattended in a closed room since air
could become saturated and leave condensation on walls and furniture.
Leave room door partly open. Do not aim mist nozzle directly at children,
walls or furniture.

5. The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other)
as a safety feature. This plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
Caution:

To avoid the risk of fire, shock or personal injury, plug
the appliance directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use an
extension cord or power strip.
