STEP 4
SNOWBLOWER INSTALLATION:
Refer to snowblower owner's manual, parts breakdown
section for their identification.
WARNING
FOR YOUR SECURITY:
Read snowblower's owner's manual for safety
precautions and rules.
Follow the assembly and operation instructions.
WARNING
TO PREVENT INJURIES:
Park the machine on a flat surface.
Disengage the P.T. O.
Lower the attachment to the ground.
Apply parking brake.
Stop the motor and remove the ignition key.
Wait until all moving parts have stopped before
leaving the driver's seat.
Install the male section of the driveline into the
snowblower's driveline by aligning the stamped mark
(item 2) (located between the splines at the end of the
shaft) with the large groove (item 1) in the hollow tube of
the snowblower's shaft.
NOTE: Only one position allows the shafts to be
inserted one into the other.
Install the extension guard (item 1) on the snowblower's
chain guard with the height adjustment bolt (item 3) (1/4
x 1'' hex bolt) and a nut on the top and a nut
underneath.
Secure in place with two 1/4 x 1/2'' hex bolts (item 2)
and flange nuts.
Tighten firmly.
