FRONT FRAME INSTALLATION:
MODELS X575, X585, X595, X728, X748
IMPORTANT: TORQUE ALL BOLTS ACCORDING
TO TORQUE SPECIFICATION TABLE (SEE TABLE
OF CONTENTS) WHEN STATED: TIGHTEN FIRMLY.
REFER TO PARTS BREAKDOWN SECTION FOR
THEIR IDENTIFICATION.
WARNING
TO PREVENT INJURIES:
Park the machine on a flat surface.
Disengage the P.T. O.
Lower the attachment to the ground.
Apply parking brake.
Stop the motor and remove the ignition key.
Wait until all moving parts have stopped before
leaving the driver's seat.
If the front P.T.O. is required, proceed as follows, if
not, go to the next step.
Remove the rubber plugs (item 1) from front and back
of front axle.
Install a bearing (item 2) and a small retaining ring (item
1) on the full splined end of the shaft (item 3) as shown.
Install the shaft (item 1) in the axle (item 3) from the
back with the full splined end towards the rear of the
tractor.
Use a brass or rubber mallet and lightly tap the shaft into
the front axle until fully entered.
Install the large retaining ring (item 2) into the groove.

Install bearing and retaining ring
Install shaft
