The call can be resumed by pressing the hold button again or from another telephone connected to the same line. Memory This telephone has 10 indirect memories (0-9). Storing numbers 1. Lift the handset, press (ignore the dialling tone). 2. Press 3. Press desired location 4. Enter the phone number (max 21 digits). 5. Press and replace the handset. Calling using memory locations 1. The standard setting is 100 ms for UK/Australia and 600 ms for New Zealand. Tone/Pulse (♫/...) Selection of either dialling method depending on PBX. Message Waiting Indicator Some PBX systems have a function called Message Waiting. On the under side of the telephone is a switch marked (MW), this is used to select one of the following options: LED+, LED-, Visual Ring Indicator ( ) and high voltage (HV). By selecting the appropriate option for your system the telephone will indicate if there are any voice mail messages available. This function operates differently depending on the PBX system in question therefore please contact your system administrator for more information. If the unit is not connected through a PBX please select ring indication ( Declaration of conformity Doro declares that the apparatus Doro Congress 100 complies with the essential requirements and other relevant positions of Directive 1999/5/EC, 2002/95/EC.   • Page 9 English REN (RN for New Zealand) The REN (Ringer Equivalence Number) or (RN) is of significance only if you wish to connect more than 1 telephone to your telephone line. A standard telephone line has a maximum REN capacity of 3 (RN of 5). It is possible to connect 3 devices with a REN of 1 (RN of 1) with no degradation to the product’s performance. Exceeding this limit may cause the volume of the ringer in any phone to decrease or not ring at all. ALL PRODUCTS The grant of a Telepermit for any item of terminal equipment indicates only that Telecom has accepted that the item complies with the minimum conditions for connection to its network. It indicates no endorsement of the product by Telecom, nor does it provide any sort of warranty.   • Page 11 Français Réglage du volume Réglez le volume à l’aide des touches £ Mémoires Ce téléphone possède 10 numéros enregistrés en mémoires abrégées. Une fois un numéro de téléphone enregistré sur une de ces plages, vous le composez en pressant simplement deux touches. Les plages en mémoire abrégée sont numérotées de 0 à 9.   • Page 15 Español Memoria Este teléfono tiene 10 memorias indirectas (0-9). Cuando un número esté almacenado en una ubicación de memoria, tan sólo tendrá que pulsar dos teclas para realizar la llamada. Almacenamiento de números 1. Descuelgue el auricular y pulse la tecla (ignore el tono de marcación). 2. Pulse la tecla de memoria 3. Seleccione una ubicación de memoria pulsando una de las teclas numéricas 4. Introduzca el número de teléfono (máximo de 21 dígitos). 5. Pulse la tecla de almacenamiento y vuelva a colgar el auricular. El número estará ahora almacenado.   • Page 19 Italiano Memoria Il presente telefono è dotato di 10 memorie indirette (0-9). Quando un numero telefonico viene memorizzato in un numero della memoria, per effettuare una chiamata è sufficiente premere due soli tasti. Memorizzazione dei numeri telefonici 1. Sollevare il ricevitore e premere il tasto Memorizzazione (ignorare il segnale acustico di linea libera). 2. Premere 3. Selezionare la posizione di memoria desiderata 4. Inserire il numero telefonico (max. 21 cifre). 5. Premere il tasto e riposizionare il ricevitore. Esecuzione di chiamate utilizzando i numeri della memoria 1. Sollevare il ricevitore (o premere il tasto Auricolare) e attendere il segnale acustico di linea libera. 2. Premere 3. Selezionare la posizione di memoria desiderata E’ possibile inserire una pausa nel numero telefonico premendo P. In caso di modifica di un numero, sostituire il vecchio numero telefonico con quello nuovo.
  • Page 20 In un vano sottostante il telefono sono situati alcuni interruttori di selezione. Tali interruttori controllano i parametri tecnici per il collegamento ad un centralino telefonico interno. Togliere il coperchio premendo con un cacciavite di piccole dimensioni (Ø max. 2,5mm) o un attrezzo simile nel foro situato a destra del coperchio. IMPORTANTE: Tali interruttori devono essere regolati esclusivamente da personale qualificato. Regolazione della funzione Recall Selezione della regolazione dell’interruzione del circuito chiuso a 100/300/600 ms per la funzione Recall. L’impostazione standard è 100 ms. Toni/impulsi (♫/...) Selezione di uno dei due metodi di composizione a seconda del centralino telefonico interno. Indicatore di Messaggio in attesa Alcuni centralini utilizzano una funzione chiamata Messaggio in attesa.   • Page 23 Nederlands Geheugen Deze telefoon beschikt over 10 indirecte geheugens (0-9). Als een nummer op een geheugenplaats is opgeslagen, hoeft u slechts op twee toetsen te drukken om de oproep te doen. Nummers opslaan 1. Neem de hoorn op (negeer de kiestoon) en druk op de opslagtoets 2. Druk op de geheugentoets 3. Kies de geheugenlocatie door op een van de cijfertoetsen te drukken. 4. Voer het telefoonnummer in (max. 21 cijfers). 5. Druk op de opslagtoets en plaats de hoorn terug. Het nummer is nu opgeslagen. Bellen met behulp van geheugenlocaties 1.   • Page 24 In een vakje onderaan de telefoon bevinden zich enkele keuzeschakelaars. Deze schakelaars bepalen technische parameters voor aansluiting op telefooncentrales. Om het klepje te verwijderen, steekt u een kleine schroevendraaier (tot Ø 2,5mm) of iets dergelijks in de opening rechts van het klepje. BELANGRIJK: Deze schakelaars mogen alleen worden bediend door gekwalificeerd personeel. Recall Time (Doorverbindtijd) Hiermee kiest u een timed loop break van 100/300/600ms voor de doorverbindfunctie. De standaardinstelling is 100 ms. Toon/Puls (♫/...) Hiermee kiest u een van twee kiesmethoden, afhankelijk van de telefooncentrale. Aanduiding Message Waiting (Wachtend bericht) Sommige telefooncentrales beschikken over een functie genaamd Message Waiting (Wachtend bericht). Aan de onderkant van de telefoon bevindt zich een schakelaar gemerkt (MW) waarmee u een van de volgende opties kunt kiezen: LED+, LED-, visuele beltoonaanduiding ( ) en hoogspanning (HV). Door de gewenste optie voor uw systeem te kiezen, geeft de telefoon aan of er voicemailberichten zijn binnengekomen.   • Page 25 Nederlands Problemen oplossen Controleer of het snoer van de telefoon onbeschadigd is en op de juiste manier is aangesloten. Ontkoppel alle eventueel aangesloten randapparatuur. Als het probleem is opgelost, zit het defect in de andere apparatuur. Test de apparatuur op een goed functionerende lijn, als het product werkt, zit het defect in de lijn. Mocht u daarna nog problemen hebben, neem dan contact op met de technische hulplijn. Garantie Dit product wordt gegarandeerd voor een periode van 24 maanden vanaf de aankoopdatum. Voor service of ondersteuning tijdens de garantieperiode moet u een aankoopbewijs kunnen tonen.
