13. Limited Warranty Terms
MÁQUINAS AGRÍCOLAS JACTO S.A. shall warrant the equipment described in this
manual and repair or replace parts and components that, under regular operation
and wear, show DEFECTS IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP, based on the following
conditions.
Warranty period
•
Battery and charger: three (3) years already included the legal warranty
of the Consumer Protection Code (art. 26, II) of 90 (ninety) days, counting
from the date of sale to the first owner (original buyer).
•
Jacto PB-25: one (01) year, including the legal warranty of the Consumer
Protection Code (art. 26, II) of 90 days, or after 800,000 cuts, whichever
comes first, respecting the legal guarantee period already mentioned.
The equipment warranty period starts from the date of sale to the first
owner (original purchaser).
Warranty application
•
JACTO shall grant a warranty free of charge as long as the parts and
components present manufacturing, assembly or raw material defects,
after conclusive factory analysis.
•
If warranty analysis is required, the equipment must be sent to the
manufacturer or authorized Jacto technical assistance in its original box
and equipped with all relevant accessories (see item 9.1. Unpacking).
•
The equipment must be accompanied by the purchase document (invoice
or invoice) to request the warranty.
•
The warranty comes into effect from the date the dealers issues the sales
invoice to the end customer.
Loss of warranty
This warranty will be void and null if any of the following causes are detected:
•
Misuse of the equipment against the technical specifications in the
operator's manual.
•
Preventive/corrective maintenance conducted by unauthorized people.
•
Use of parts and components not supplied by JACTO.
•
Modification of the equipment or any characteristic of its original design.
This warranty shall exclude
•
Parts such as blade, counter-blade, rack, pinion, trigger, waist belt, arm
bracelet, and holster that show wear and tear due to use, UNLESS THEY
SHOW DEFECTS IN WORKMANSHIP, ASSEMBLY, OR MATERIAL.
•
Damages resulting from accidents.
•
Transportation or freight of the equipment, parts, and components in case
such warranty is not approved.
•
Transportation and travel time of personnel.
General Terms
JACTO's responsibility is restricted to the terms of the present warranty, which is
untransferable and automatically becomes void and null when the equipment is
transferred or resold.
•
Parts replaced within the warranty period shall be the property of JACTO.
•
The replaced parts and components warranty shall expire with the
equipment warranty period.
•
Eventual delays in performing services do not give the owner the right
to indemnity or an extension of the warranty period.
•
JACTO reserves the right to modify its products or to interrupt the
manufacture without prior notice.
•
