After this period, the operation screen will show information on the battery
charge percentage, partial cuts and a drawing requesting the trigger to be acti-
vated to start the operation.
Fully press the trigger and keep it in this condition for at least 1 second to start
the blade opening movement. Keep pressing the trigger until the opening pro-
cess is completely completed (when this happens, Jacto PB-25 will emit a sound
signal with 3 short beeps, and the current opening level indicator will appear in
the center of the display). If you release the trigger during the opening process,
the equipment will stop the blade movement and wait for a new trigger cycle.
*Note: Jacto PB-25 memorizes the cuts made. The number of total cuts results
from the sum of the number of cuts already memorized with the value accumu-
lated in the current cutting operation. Always turn off Jacto PB-25 using the "on/
off button" so that the data is saved correctly. Disconnecting the battery from
the equipment without carrying out the shutdown procedure will cause the
partial cuts of the current job to be lost.
10.2. Progressive cutting control
Jacto PB-25 has a triple-cutting opening program. This program allows com-
plete control of the cutting blade, with the blade position proportional to the
trigger position. The cutting blade moves back and forth to the desired point
with a speed proportional to the trigger operating speed, allowing better acces-
sibility and perfect cutting control. Therefore, if you cut at a reduced speed, the
blade will close more slowly.
10.3. Changing the opening
According to the fi gure below, press the trigger for 3 seconds to change the
blade opening. The cutting blade will close, and an audible signal with two
short beeps will sound. Release the trigger and briefl y press the "on/off " button
to change the opening to one of three preset positions. Fully press the trigger
and then release it to complete the adjustment.
Opening screen 1 = 12.5 mm diameter (50%)
Opening screen 2 = 18.7 mm diameter (75%)
Opening screen 3 = 25 mm diameter (100%)

10.4. Sleep/Power off mode
This mode allows you to disable Jacto PB-25 and close the blades fully (to store
it in the holster).
Keep the trigger pressed for 3 seconds. The blade will be closed, and an audible
signal with two short beeps will indicate that the Jet PB-25 is in sleep mode.
To resume the operation, press the trigger fully and then release it. The blade
will move to the open position, and it will be possible to restart the blade cycle.
NOTE: Blades remain closed in sleep mode.
Jacto PB-25 has an automatic shutdown function. After 10 minutes of inactivity,
the entire system is turned off . At this point, press the 'on/off ' button to restart
Jacto PB-25.
To turn Jacto PB-25 off , put it in waiting mode, and only after this, press the
'on/off ' button until the equipment sounds three quick beeps. Then, turn off the
display. After this process, release the button.
NOTE: After this procedure, place Jacto PB-25 in a safe place with the blades
closed.
10.5. Warning signs
If a failure condition is detected while operating the equipment, the following
audible/visual warnings can possibly occur:
•
Lack of rack
If the rack is removed from the equipment in the following conditions, the
equipment will emit a pulsating sound alert and warn the user with this symbol
on the display:
1.
The blade opens when the equipment is started. If the rack is not in-
stalled and the trigger is pressed and held in this position to begin open-
ing the blade when starting Jacto PB-25, the motor will start operating
and will be turned off in 2 seconds.
2.
During the partial opening adjustment period. If the rack is removed
from the equipment after activating the sleep period, visual and audible
alerts will be emitted immediately.
WARNING!
The rack can be removed only after the equipment is turned
off for cleaning, lubrication, or maintenance. Otherwise, the
pinion movement can cause injuries. The equipment returns
to regular operation if the rack is installed correctly after the
shutoff procedure.
•
Damaged battery
Suppose Jacto PB-25 is powered by an improper battery, and the upper operat-
ing voltage limit is reached. In that case, the operation is interrupted immediate-
ly, and this play will appear on the display with a pulsating sound alert. To return
to regular operation, turn off Jacto PB-25 and check the battery.
