Batteries
Be alert for battery packs that are nearing
their end of life. If you notice decreased tool
performance or a significantly shorter run-
ning time between charges, then it is time to
replace the battery pack. Failure to do so can
cause the tool to operate improperly or dam-
age the charger.

Your Dremel tool has been properly lubricat-
ed and is ready for use.

The retracting Lower Guard 7 must always
be able to move freely and retract automati-
cally. It is therefore important to keep the
area around the retracting blade guard clean
at all times.
Care of Blades
Blades become dull even from cutting regu-
lar lumber. If you find yourself forcing the
saw forward to cut instead of just guiding it
through the cut, chances are the blade is dull
or coated with wood pitch.
When cleaning gum and wood pitch from
the blade, remove the Battery Pack 13 from
the saw and remove the blade. Remember,
blades are designed to cut, so handle care-
fully. Wipe the Blade 3 with kerosene or a
similar solvent to remove the gum and pitch.
Unless you are experienced in sharpening
blades, we recommend you do not try.
Accessory Storage & Maintenance
Store accessories in a dry and temperate en-
vironment to avoid corrosion and/or deterio-
ration.
