1. Disconnect the Battery Pack 13 from the
tool before making adjustments.
2. Set the Depth Adjustment Knob 10 ac-
cording to the material to be cut.
3. Reattach the Battery Pack 13 to the saw.
4. Tilt the saw forward with Cutting Line
Guide Notches 0º and 45º lined up with
the line that is drawn.
5. Raise the Lower Guard 7 using the Lower
Guard Lift Lever 8 and hold the saw by
the Handle 12.
6. With the Blade 3 just clearing the material
to be cut, turn the tool ON.
7. Gradually lower the back end of the saw
using the front end of the Foot 4 as the
hinge point.
8. Release the Lower Guard Lift Lever 8 im-
mediately when the blade starts cutting
the material. Do not cut backwards.
9. To complete the cut, turn OFF the saw
and allow the blade to come to a com-
plete stop. Make the remaining cuts in a
similar way, always moving the saw for-
ward. If corners of your pocket cut are not
completely cut through, use a jigsaw or
hand saw to finish the corners.
