INSTALL ATION CONSIDERATIONS
⁄ Inspect this product thoroughly before installation.
Claims for shipping damage made after installation
will not be honored.
⁄ Please read over these instructions thoroughly
before beginning installation. Make sure that you
have all tools and supplies needed to complete the
installation.
This rough must be finished with a tub filler
trim kit (not included).
Read the instructions included with the tub fill-
er trim kit regarding installation requirements.
⁄ Most trim kits are not anti-scald. In Massachusetts,
or if required by local plumbing code, install an ap-
proved water temperature limiting device conforming
to ASSE 1070 (not available from Hansgrohe).
⁄ When used with a thermostatic trim kit, a temperature
limiting device is not required. See the chart on page
5.
⁄ AXOR Uno Free-standing tub spouts 38412XX1
and 45412XX1 do not incorporate mixing valves or
handshowers. When the tub filler is supplied mixed
water by an approved thermostatic (Type T) or pres-
sure balanced (Type P) mixing valve, a temperature
limiting device is not required.
⁄ Keep this booklet and the receipt (or other proof of
date and place of purchase) for this product in a
safe place. The receipt is required should it be neces-
sary to request warranty parts.
