working (if the set time has not yet elapsed) when you slide the fryer basket back into the
appliance.
NOTE: The appliance is equipped with a function that acts as a reminder to the shake food, see
chapter "Shake food reminder".
12. At the end, a tone will sound to indicate that your food is ready. The appliance fan stays on for
a bit and will then switch off automatically. You will then hear another tone. You can also turn
the device off early by first pressing the start/pause button and then pressing the on/off button
to turn the device off completely. The appliance fan stays on for a bit before it turns off.
13. Remove the deep fryer from the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant holder. You can put
the food in a bowl or take it out of the deep fryer with heat-resistant tongs that do not scratch
the non-stick coating of the deep fryer.
SHAKE FOOD REMINDER
The appliance is equipped with a function that reminds you to shake the food in the fryer during
use to obtain an even frying result. Halfway through the frying process, the "SHAKE" symbol will
light up on the display to remind you to shake or turn the food in the fryer. An audible signal will
also sound. If you do nothing, the symbol will remain lit.

NOTE: The appliance does not pause automatically, it will only pause if you briefly remove the
fryer from the appliance. It will continue working (if the timer is still running) once you slide the
fryer back into the appliance.
COMMENTS
• An acoustic signal is emitted for each setting you set on the device.
• You can monitor the progress of the cooking through the viewing window. Briefly press the
on/off button to turn the inside light on. The inside light goes out automatically after a few
seconds.
• You can adjust the set temperature or time at any time while the unit is in operation.
• Excess grease is collected in the air fryer.
• If your food is not ready after the set time has elapsed, you can always switch the appliance
back on for a few minutes.
• After the appliance has been switched off, it will continue to run for a while to cool down. Then
a beep sounds to indicate that the appliance is now completely off.
• There is no need to preheat the appliance. You can add three minutes to the desired baking
time if necessary for frozen products.
• You can also use the fryer to warm up ingredients. Set the fryer temperature to 150°C for ten
minutes.
AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMES
The device has 8 automatically set programmes. To set one of these, press the menu button until
you have selected the desired program. Press the start/pause button to activate this programme. At
the end, a bell will ring to indicate that your food is ready. The unit then switches off automatically.
If you want to switch to another programme during the selected programme, press the start/pause
button to pause. Select the new programme via the menu button and press the start button again
to start this new programme.
