11.4.7 Bluetooth
Select this mode to play music via Bluetooth from a smartphone or tablet, for example. Proceed as
follows:

Select Bluetooth mode.

The BT symbol on the bottom edge of the display flashes. The internet radio is now in pairing
mode.
•
1. The device connects automatically if a previously paired BT device is nearby. The BT icon is
lit continuously once a connection has been established.
2. If you wish to connect a new BT device to the internet radio for the first time, activate the BT
function on your device and search for available BT devices nearby. If the internet radio, with
BT identifier SIRD 14 E1, is found, you can establish a connection to the internet radio. See
the User Manual for your BT device. The BT icon is lit continuously once a connection has been
established.

Audio files can now be played on the internet radio via Bluetooth.
•
To disconnect the Bluetooth connection, deactivate the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth
device or disconnect directly on the internet radio.
If you press the MENU button [6], the "BT disconnect", "System settings" and "Main menu" options
are available.
11.5 Connecting the headphones
Set the volume to the lowest level before connecting headphones in order to avoid
damaging your hearing. You can then set the volume to the level you want.
Be careful when using headphones. Listening to high-volume audio can damage
your auditory system.
The headphones jack [8] is used to connect headphones. If the headphones are plugged in, the
speakers [3 and 12] are automatically muted.
