Connection rules
-
The device must be connected to a 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase power
supply.
-
The device's power supply must be connected directly to the network
after the circuit breaker without an intermediate switch.
-
The device will be connected to the mains by means of the device
cable via a connection box. In wet environments such as bathrooms
and kitchens, the connection box must be installed at least 25 cm from
the floor.
-
Earthing is prohibited. Do not earth the pilot wire (black wire).
-
The power supply must be directly connected to the network after
the all-pole cut-out device, with a contact opening gap of at least 3 mm,
and without an intermediate switch.
-
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its After-Sales service or a similarly qualified professional to prevent any
hazards.
-
If using the pilot wire, and if it is protected by a 30 mA residual current
device (e.g. bathroom), the pilot wire power supply needs to be
protected on this RCD.
-
If you wish to use a load-shedding device, select one with a pilot wire
output and not with a power output, to avoid damage to the thermostat.
