• Do not use lanyard intended for use "at
height" to lift or hold tool in working position .
• Do not use lanyard intended for use "at
height" for personal fall protection .
• Do not change accessories while working at
height .
• Electric Shock Hazard . Keep lanyard away
from high voltage areas or live electrical wires .
• Do not modify the lanyard attachment point
on the tool, or use in a manner other than in-
structed in this manual .
• Do not use near any moving parts . Lanyard
may become caught by moving parts, causing
crush or entanglement hazard .
• Keep lanyard away from working accessory on
tool .
• Avoid getting tangled in the lanyard .
• For corded tools: Avoid entanglement be-
tween power cord and lanyard .

Assembly
• Do not carry tool by attachment point or lan-
yard .
• Only transfer the tool between your hands
while you are properly balanced .
• Do not attempt to catch a falling tool .
Inspect attachment point on tool and lanyard
for damage before each use and after a drop
to ensure proper function . Do not use if at-
tachment point or lanyard (including fabric and
stitching) is damaged or not working properly .
Do not allow lanyard to come in contact with
sharp edges, blades, cutting chips, sparks, and
other items that will damage it . In the event the
tool is dropped when used "at height," it must
be tagged and removed from service . Return to
Bosch service center for inspection .
NOTE: Attachment point damage may include,
but is not limited to: white stress marks on plas-
tic, cracked or broken components, stretching
or change of shape .
