11. Maintenance

Regularly check the safety of the mixer, for example, for damage to the mains cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately
and make sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the power plug out of the power socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• there is visible damage to the device or to the power line
• the device no longer functions
• the product has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
• the device has been subjected to heavy transport strain
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the mixer:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before carrying out any servicing or
repair work.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all power sources.
Only qualified specialists familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations may
perform repairs.
Cleaning
The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as the surface of the casing could be damaged.
