b) Connecting the outputs
MASTER OUT 1 (15) connection
Connect this output to a free XLR input of your amplifier.
This output offers better signal quality and interference resistance than MASTER OUT 2 (16) and
should therefore be favoured if the amplifier is equipped with both connection types.
MASTER OUT 2 (16) connection
Connect this output to a free RCA input of your amplifier.
REC connection (17)
If you wish to record the output signal of the mixer with a recording device, connect the recording input of
the device to this socket on the mixer.
BOOTH connection (17)
You can connect an additional amplifier to this output to be used in an adjoining room or to provide the
signal for monitor loudspeakers.
PHONES connection (7)
Connect headphones with a 6.3 mm jack plug to this output.
c) Record player earth connection
If your record player has its own earth line (usually a thin, black cable with clamp-type socket), connect it
to earthing screw SIGNAL GND (21). This helps prevent hum trouble.
d) Connecting the power supply
The mains socket must be close to the device and easily accessible to quickly separate the
device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Ensure that the voltage indication on the device matches the mains voltage of your power sup-
ply. Never try to operate the device with any other voltage.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause po-
tentially fatal electric shock.
Make sure that no cables are lying around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent ac-
cidents.
• Plug the small connector of the provided mains cable into the power supply (14).
• Plug the mains cable into a mains socket.
