7. Setting up the device
Ensure proper ventilation is provided when setting up the device.
Never place the product on soft surfaces such as, for example, a carpet or a bed, etc.
In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths or
curtains etc. This prevents the heat from escaping from the device and can lead to overheating
(fire hazard).
Do not drill any holes or screw any screws into the housing of the mixer to mount the device.
This can damage the device and impair the operational safety.
Make sure that the device is set up securely positioned on a steady surface.
Should the mixer fall down, people might be injured.
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cables are not squeezed or damaged
by sharp edges.
Always install the cables so that nobody can trip over them or become entangled in them. Risk
of injury.
When selecting a place to set up the device, avoid direct, intensive sunlight, vibration, dust,
heat, cold and moisture.
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as transformers,
motors, cordless telephones or radio-controlled devices in the vicinity of the mixer, as they can
cause interferences with the mixer.
Never place the device on valuable or delicate furniture surfaces without providing sufficient
protection.
