Problem
The machine is not running.
The warning lights comes on at
startup.
Motor stops immediately after

Cause
Power supply not connected.
Phase fault.
Incorrect fuse.
Suction hose not connected.
Suction hose perforated.
Blocked filter.
Suction hose too long or narrow.
Hose partially blocked.
Top of machine poorly fitted.
Dust trapped in cyclone.
The pump is rotating in the wrong direction.
Turbo pump overheated.
Motor stops.
Filter loose or damaged.

Action
Connect power supply.
Change phase sequence of electric cable connected to
turbo pump.
Replace with correct fuse.
Connect hose.
Replace hose.
Clean or replace.
Replace hose.
Reverse or clean hose.
Adjust fitting.
Remove top and clean cyclone.
Let an electrician change the phase.
Make sure the machine is not throttled and wait for it to
cool down (about 30 min).
Check motor protection switches, cables.
Check and replace as necessary.
